We are holding our monthly chapter meeting on 30 July at 8pm.
Due to recent events there has been an influx of new members. This month we have a meetings (online) and a range trip to SEG (unfortunately it filled up). If you have signed up for the SEG trip on the 26nd, and for whatever reason can't make it, let me know so I can free up the spot. We have classes (https://liberalguntraining.org/) and can also do informal firearms familiarization at our range day.
Whats happening this month?
- Our monthly meeting will be on the 26th.
- Our next trip to SEG is on July 26th. We will be going to SEG next month.
- One of our members, Bonard Molina, a practicing lawyer and published author will lead a discussion titled: "Should liberals keep and bear arms for self-defense?" In September 2024, the Wall Street Journal published an article titled “The Most Surprising New Gun Owners Are U.S. Liberals” link to full article here. According to the article, “Researchers, gun merchants and owners attribute the shift to factors including rising concerns about personal safety and a volatile political climate”. But should liberals turn to firearms for defensive purposes? If so, how does that work exactly? What are our guns for, and what are we defending against? Continuing our liberal 2A conversations, this month we’ll focus on the role of defensive firearms in liberal spaces. Join us for the second of a series of conversations about these important topics."
