Its that time of year again. Legislative season, we are going to Richmond to talk with our elected representatives. There is plenty of bad legislation this year. It includes but is not limited to:
- HB1736: A law that will create a state-financed gun control propaganda office.
- HB1607: An assault weapons ban.
- SB891: A 5-day waiting period that includes the rental of firearms at a range.
These laws will do nothing to address the root causes of interpersonal violence and suicide. We have a better way. If you want to join us at lobby day, sign up for this event. Please also join us for an online meeting (16 JAN). We can discuss proposed legislation and finish our game plan. Be prepared to contact your legislators ahead of time to make appointments.
