Fellow LGCCA Members:

It is time for our favorite event of the year: Meet in the Middle! Join us May 17-19, 2024 in beautiful Morrow Bay for a weekend of fun, education, and camaraderie.

If you haven't been before, the annual MITM serves as our one and only full chapter meeting. We will discuss the state of the chapter and what lies ahead. If you want to be part of the conversation and future of this chapter or the LGC in general, be there!

The shooting activities and the Chapter Meeting will be held at the San Luis Obispo Sportmen's association, a great facility in a beautiful spot on the central coast.  Come join your old LGC pals and meet new friends at the highlight of the LGCCA's calendar.  For info about the range: http://www.slosa.org/. Be prepared to have great weekend of shooting there.

There are multiple registrations types this year:

Basic: $25 Includes light breakfast in the morning Saturday and Sunday and lunch on Saturday.

Deluxe : $75 Includes the basic plus a catered dinner on Saturday night at Two Broads Ciderworks in San Luis Obispo.  We will be announcing the menu when it's finalized, there will be vegetarian and vegan options available. This will be an evening not to be missed with your LGC colleagues.

OTHER COSTS: Range fees are not included in the event registration. Range fees, if you plan to use the public range, are $15/day. You are responsible for your own accommodations. There are many inns and hotels in Morrow Bay. If you are inclined towards camping, SLOSA does allow us to camp onsite at the Cowboy range. They have RV hookups. Please make sure to sign up for Camping if you plan to do so. You will also be responsible for dinner both nights, unless you join us for dinner on Saturday. On Friday, we will likely meet up and have an informal dinner, so feel free to bring food with you or chip in for a group dinner buy. We may BBQ at the range.

CLASSES

Classes are optional. Mike Dasargo is an excellent instructor based in San Diego. He will be teaching Defensive Shooting Fundamentals on Saturday. Read up on the class description and requirements here: MITM DSF Class Description and Sign Up. Please use that link to pay for the course, but also select that ticket type when registering for MITM so we can keep track.  Mike is giving us an excellent discount of $100/pp, which is a bargain for a full-day course.

Our own Chief Instructor Alessandro Padovani will be offering a course on advanced pistol handling on Sunday for a half-day. Details will follow for those who sign up. The class will be donation-based.
