Its that time of year again. Legislative season, we are going to Richmond to talk with our elected representatives. There is plenty of bad legislation this year. It includes but is not limited to:
- HB2/SB2: An assault weapons ban.
- SB57: Prohibits carrying a firearm on the premise of a restaurant that serves alcohol even if one does not partake.
- SB55: Establishes a 3-day waiting period to purchase a firearm.
These laws will do nothing to address the root causes of interpersonal violence and suicide. We have a better way. If you want to join us at lobby day, sign up for this event.
