It's California Annual Meet in the Middle time!
We are coming back to Spring-time annual meetings here in California so we can enjoy the range before it gets too hot! Unfortunately, it took a long time to get things arranged with SLOSA, but they are finally set. We will try and make late-spring our annual time of year for a meeting. As always, we will be meeting at the San Luis Obispo Sportsmen's Association located at 3270 Gilardi Rd., San Luis Obispo, CA 93405.
The event will be open from Friday, May 5 to Sunday May 7. Feel free to attend all or part of the weekend. We do not currently have a room block anywhere, so you will need to arrange your own accommodation. We are allowed to camp on the SLOSA premises and a number of our members will be doing that.
Throughout the weekend we will have access to the long distance range, the multipurpose range next to the long distance range, and the range clubhouse and BBQ pit. Some of us may also do some shotgun at the shotgun range.
We are working on bringing you a class, most likely on the 7th. Details to follow.
Cost for the event is free, but you will be responsible to pay any range fees, which should be $10/day to use the long distance range and/or $10/day at the rifle pistol range. The shotgun bays require you to purchase clays, but we will be given the member rate for that.
We will have an optional group dinner on Saturday night and are working out the details on that. This will be a separate cost.
An itinerary will be announced closer in time to the event.
