Hello Everyone! We're trying a different coffee shop this time, in the City but hopefully west enough to be as accessible as Elmwood Park has been. Looks like street parking is free and plentiful in that area, and the cafe has good reviews. We'll see how the meeting space works out.

I hope to see as many of you as can possibly make it, I'd like to get any volunteers on board who would like to help with the Annual National Meeting.

I'll have a report on the trip to SHOT Show (what a week!), and there will be open for discussion anything members want to bring up for what we want going forward as a chapter. Anyone interested in helping with organizing events like meetups at different ranges, or if anyone would like to host a meeting in their home or other space they have access to for a dozen or so people, that would be great! An advantage of meeting in a private space could include some show & tell that we cannot do otherwise, and that is too rushed at meetups a lot of the time.

I'm attaching the agenda from last year's Annual National Meeting, to give you all a chance to look it over as we'll be scheduling everything very similarly at the ISRA Range in Bonfield.

Let me know if the link doesn't work.

Things we'll need volunteers for: Transport - people coming from O'Hare with lots of heavy guns, many will rent, of course, but if we can have some folks on standby willing to pickup that would be awesome. Along the same line, carpooling from the hotel (which will be in Bourbonnais) to the range daily would also be a great volunteer opportunity.  Equipment - popup tents or other camping sunshades have been discussed, as this will be in the open on the training ranges in August - anyone with camping gear, sunshades and chairs and coolers, please let us know if you'd be willing to bring them for use.  Time and labor - lots of opportunities to help with setup and breakdown of stages on the ranges, plus a merch table and helping with the catering and food services.

Hope to see you there!
