Range safety officer training in Southern California at Evan's Gun World, 637 N Brian St, in Orange, Ca, on Feb 22 2020 from 9:00AM to 6:00PM.
Become a NRA Certified Range safety officer. This is the part of the NRA you never hear about. You may or may not think that their public image and political messaging are helping the Second Amendment. However, courses and certifications like this course are the GOOD part of the NRA, and are the core infrastructure for the shooting sports as we know them.
NRA membership is not required to take this course.
Instructor John White has been a Range officer at Richmond Rod and Gun club since 2017. For past 2 years he has been a Chief Range Officer responsible for the operation of the range on his duty days. He bring a wealth of practical experience in Range safety, risk management, and customer service. His philosophy for RSO training is based on 2 basic ideas: 1. A safe range is a fun range, 2. RSO's are the front line ambassadors for the shooting sports, making sure that EVERYONE feels safe and welcome at the range is critical to fostering growth in the shooting sports.
Class fee is $50.00 for LGC members, and $60.00 for guests. Lunch is included!
